It starts the way bad ideas usually do, with confidence. This hiking video opens with a dog named Pino standing at the edge of a snowy overlook. The Corgi looks like he’s already questioning every choice that led here.
The video on @pino.the.corgi shows him out at Dog Mountain, BC, trying his best to navigate a snowy hike, but in reality, fighting gravity with four-inch legs is an impossible task. His human — who he calls “Brain” — promised him an easy loop. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t easy. This video is a total mood for anyone who’s ever been lured outside under false pretenses of “fun.”
Corgi’s walk in snow takes him to a viewpoint
As Pino starts moving, the captions do most of the talking. People pass by, heading back down, which feels like foreshadowing. Then a Husky appears. Pino gives him a cheerful “henlo frien” and gets a polite sniff in return. But then the Husky says, “Good luck,” and that is just ominous. Pino looks totally confused. Why on earth would he need luck for a “simple” trip?
Then there’s Ellie, his human sister. She’s lugging around snowballs like they are literal treasure. Pino is clearly not having it. He tries to tell her, “No carry da balls. We gotta run.” But Ellie isn’t budging. The balls are precious.
And so the hike continues into the slippery mess. They hit a cute bridge and meet a black Lab who basically drops a bomb — it’s still far. Pino looks like he’s about to abandon his family and follow that Lab back to the parking lot.
Then it just gets harder. He’s off the leash and trying to climb these massive mounds of white stuff that are basically taller than he is. He’s out there huffing and puffing, looking back at the camera like, “Oh my Corg, heckin brain big liar.” It’s hilarious because he’s so small but so determined.
By the time they get back to the parking lot, he’s basically done. But of course, another Corgi is just starting their own trip up. Pino gives him the ultimate tip: “No trust hooman words.” He’s literally warning the next guy about the trap. In the end, “Brain” was right about the view at the top being worth it for the camera, even if Pino’s legs say otherwise.
