A rescue puppy copies his big dog buddy’s nap pose in this Instagram video, and it all begins with the pet parent asking the little one, Cowboy, whether he wants to lie down with the older pooch. Cowboy seems to want to join the big dog named Cactus on his bed. So, when the human sets the puppy free, he walks straight to the bed and lies down like Cactus.
Meanwhile, the pet parent mentions the pup’s adorable behavior in the caption, which reads, “The way Cowboy just follows Cactus’s lead and lays the exact same way.”
Cowboy follows Cactus’s example right down to his resting position
In this Instagram video, a rescue puppy, Cowboy, copies his older brother, Cactus, during their nap. Through on-screen text, the uploader gives a heads-up. It says, “My new rescue puppy is fully obsessed with my dog.” The clip begins with the human holding the little one in his palm and asking if he “wanna go lay with Cactus.”
It appears the pup wants to follow his brother and be with him. So, the human lets Cowboy go. He walks towards the dog bed and hops in. Cactus, who is already lying there, doesn’t flinch and just looks at the owner. Meanwhile, Cowboy tries to find the right spot by breaking all the rules of his brother’s personal space.
Cowboy snuggles and cuddles with Cactus for a while. As the latter is sleepy, he dozes off soon. The puppy follows his buddy’s lead and lies down in the exact position, copying Cactus. Meanwhile, viewers cannot get enough of the two dogs.
A user commented, “They are precious together. You’re so good with them.” Another wrote, “I love that he always has to be touching Cactus. He feels so safe with him.” Moreover, the post has garnered over 72K likes as of this writing.
