The handle slides closer to the dog as the leash retracts, but the Corgi doesn’t wander off. She turns around and keeps her eyes on her tiny friend. The toddler gets one leg over, pauses, and carefully works her way across. She even looks up and smiles at her mom at one point, while sitting astride the log.
The dog waits for the toddler without pulling or trying to sneak away. She even moves closer as the baby reaches the ground, staying beside her until she can grab her leash again. Once she’s safely over, the Corgi looks back at their mom. That little glance has viewers convinced she was checking whether she had done a good job.
