Bedtime in this household, apparently, is not complete until Harlow gets his goodnight kiss. The little girl has made hugging the Golden Retriever part of her nightly routine, whether he is curled up in his bed, resting beside the couch, or simply trying to sleep.
In the video shared by @harlow_thegolden, she comes over night after night for a hug, a kiss, or a few quiet minutes beside him. Sometimes, she arrives with a blanket. Other times, her hair is still wet from her bath. Whatever the evening looks like, Harlow gets his bedtime love.

The first clip shows the little girl tucked into Harlow’s bed with a blanket over her, leaning against his belly while the Golden Retriever sleeps underneath her. She smiles at the camera while the text explains that she includes him in her night routine “every.single.night.”
The next shots make that pretty clear. She comes over on different nights to hug Harlow and give him a kiss before heading to her own bed. One evening, she jumps onto his bed with wet hair after her bath and settles in for another cuddle. Another night, Harlow is lying behind the couch. She also returns to his bed with another blanket, while her older brother watches nearby. On another night, the little girl leans over and plants a kiss right on Harlow’s snout.
A couple of other clips show the same thing happening just before bedtime, as though everyone already knows the routine. The final shot has her lying across Harlow’s donut bed, gently tapping one foot on the floor while the sleepy Golden Retriever lets her stay close.
The video has picked up more than 5,900 likes in less than 24 hours, and viewers clearly approve of the arrangement. One called it “the cutest routine ever.” Another joked that Harlow must be “the nicest fluffy pillow ever.” The sweetest part is how ordinary it all feels. The little girl simply knows that before bedtime, her Golden Retriever deserves a hug and a kiss too.
