The clip, shared by @chloethefeministhusky on Instagram, features a Husky named Chloe, who is so dependent on her mom and stubborn that she refuses to come inside on her own, even though she knows how. Though Huskies can be very quick learners, they can be stubborn and require training with plenty of positive reinforcement. The clip is simple, yet the dog’s reaction and expression give it a comedic edge.
The video shows Chloe sitting comfortably on the other side of the door while her mom waits for her. The paw parent shared that Chloe knows how to come inside by herself through the doggie door, but simply won’t. She can see the door and knows exactly what’s on the other side. Still, she refuses to do it herself and instead patiently waits for Mom to do the job for her.
The paw parent also wrote in the caption of the post, “Well, you’re not doing anything, Mom, so why should I clamber in?”
After all, why would Chloe do any work when Mom is right there to help? Dogs really have a way of turning the simplest moments into hilarious ones. Chloe may not want to open the door herself, but she certainly knows how to get someone else to do it for her.
