Wiping smudge marks off glass doors usually feels like an endless chore for parents everywhere. But one creative mom in New Jersey recently discovered a much better way to tackle the daily routine. A hilarious video by @skylars.the.limit shows a Golden Retriever named Skylar supervising her toddler brother, Shalom, doing it instead. It’s the sweet pup who creates “nose art” on the patio door, but she’s all too happy to watch her young helper wipe them away.

Filmed from inside the house, the video looks out through the glass patio door, where little Shalom has clearly been given an important mission. Armed with a paper towel in one hand and a water gun in the other, he gets to work cleaning away the collection of nose prints decorating the glass. He starts near the bottom before slowly wiping upward, taking his time with every streak.
Right behind him stands Skylar. She doesn’t lift a paw to help, of course, but she also doesn’t wander off. She quietly supervises each move as he works his way across the glass.
The funniest part comes when Shalom gives the water gun a determined little shake. And then proceeds to spray some more cleaner on the glass. He looks every bit like a professional. Then it’s back to wiping until the glass looks almost spotless.
Skylar continues to watch the whole operation without breaking character, making sure none of her famous “nose artwork” is overlooked. Anyone who shares a home with a Golden Retriever knows those nose prints on windows somehow appear faster than they can be cleaned. Skylar now seems to have found the perfect helper.
The video has already earned more than 1,000 likes, and viewers had plenty to say about the adorable teamwork. One person laughed, “Skylar is the best supervisor — gotta hire her for our house!” Another joked, “While Shalom cleans so diligently, Skylar is patiently waiting to make new additions.”
