Dog is first to notice mom stopping during walk, proving ‘loyalty’
The clip begins with dad and Zebby walking up a slight incline on the road. The pet parent is busy holding the leash while also scrolling on his phone, while mom is walking several steps behind the pair to see how they react. This breed is naturally tuned into the emotions and movements of their favorite people, and Zebby keeps a sly eye on her even while moving forward. Then, Mom suddenly comes to a full halt to begin the loyalty test between the dog and his dad. The Retriever stops immediately and refuses to take another step without her.
