In the heart-melting rescue dog video on Instagram, a French Bulldog named Mindy experiences a series of heartwarming firsts after arriving at her foster home. Her journey begins with her “first car ride to safety,” where she settles into the passenger seat on a cushion with a neck pillow around her neck.

The clip then follows more milestones, including playing with a toy, meeting her foster dad, and enjoying her first treat. Through on-screen text, the uploader shares the pooch’s story in a touching line that reads, “From neglected and left on the streets to die, to lots of new firsts.”

The video also shows the foster mom carrying Mindy, who is adorably dressed in a onesie and wearing the same neck pillow. Furthermore, Mindy experiences her first car journey, but it’s not a simple ride. It is her first ride to “safety.” Next, the pooch quietly lets the human give her a “medicated bath,” which is also her first.

The adorable dog also experiences her first playtime, treats, meeting her foster dad, and her first pup cup. It is evident in the video that Mindy has been having the time of her life in the new safe environment among caring humans.

Meanwhile, viewers have lauded the foster parents’ efforts and also loved the dog’s transformation. A user commented, “You literally can see the light come back in her eyes.” Another wrote, “She knows she’s safe and loved.” Moreover, the Instagram post has garnered over 13K likes as of this writing.
