There’s one last bedtime check that happens every single night in Winnie’s house, and it’s the cutest. In the video shared by @winnietheelabrador, the sweet dog climbs onto the bed carrying her beloved baby toy, and their bond is so important that she won’t settle down without it.
It’s a tiny thing, but it says so much about the Labrador. While plenty of dogs have favorite toys, Winnie has clearly decided this one is family, and once that decision was made, there was simply no changing her mind.

The clip begins with Winnie already tucked up on the bed, “baby” safely held in her mouth. The on-screen text reads, “Nothing can break the bond between my dog and her ‘baby,’” and after watching for only a few seconds, you’ll be nodding in agreement, too. We see her eyelids start getting heavier, yet she never lets go.
Instead, she carefully shifts the toy into the perfect spot, resting her chin gently across it as though making sure it’s comfortable, too. At one point, Winnie notices her owner filming and raises her eyes to meet hers. After a quick glance, she seems satisfied that everything is as it should be. So, she closes them again and drifts towards sleep, still holding her precious child.
The caption explains that not a single night goes by without her “baby” beside her, and another popular video from the account makes the habit even sweeter. After finishing her meal, Winnie carefully carries the toy over to her food bowl as if she’s making sure her little baby gets dinner, too.
Dogs often form incredibly strong attachments to certain objects. It could be a blanket, a tennis ball, or a well-loved stuffed toy. But those little routines can become part of how they feel relaxed and secure.
Labradors, especially, are known for carrying treasured items gently in their mouths, making Winnie’s nightly ritual feel even more fitting. Lots of people couldn’t get enough of the clip. One viewer summed it up perfectly in just two words: “So sweet.”
