Angel is a rescue pup who is currently proving that it is never too late for a fresh start. This foster dog from @ziggythemann is finally heading to her forever home in a sweet new video. And she is getting all the special treatment before she leaves. It is a big moment for a girl who has been through so much. She spent her weekend at an adoption event, meeting new people and pups. It turns out, she knew she was going to meet her new parents there.
Foster dog gets a special treat before leaving for forever home
The video opens with Angel and her foster brother, Ziggy, sitting sweetly on a couch as their mom gives us the foster update. The story rewinds a bit, and we get a walk-through of Angel’s adoption event, where she absolutely shines. She greets people, meets other dogs, and just handles it all so gently. At one point, she stretches up on her hind legs to take a treat from a gentleman, easy and polite.
Then comes the most special moment. One family steps in, the mom picks her up, and Angel just melts into her arms. Fully relaxed, slow blinks and all. One viewer noticed it too, saying, “Those slow blinks… impossible not to fall in love.” And, that’s when it clicks. She’s found her people.
Back home, the tone shifts a little. It’s her last night, and the rules get bent just this once. Her mom lets her sleep right in the big bed as a final special treat. It is the best way to spend their last night together. Sunday morning involves a lot of lounging on the couch. Angel gets all the head scritches and belly rubs she can handle. She is clearly enjoying her final hours as a foster dog.
Ziggy has been the most supportive brother throughout this whole foster journey. In a later shot, we see the two of them sleep with their bodies intertwined, one last time. The video has already earned over 6,000 likes from emotional fans. “Ziggy and I will miss you so much,” her mom shared. It is a beautiful ending for such a sweet girl.
