An adorable Instagram video from @nautidoggo shows Nauti the Golden Retriever charging into the room like he has breaking news to deliver. He howls, his tail sweeps back and forth, and he sits right in front of his mom, and all this fuss is about a bandana. His owner says Nauti is determined to be famous, and the viewers’ reactions to the video prove him right.
Golden Retriever shows off new bandana to humans
The Golden Retriever’s owner plays along right away in the video, telling him, “Yeah, okay, we can show them the other one that you got,” and joking, “You got more accessories than your mama.” Nauti answers with another dramatic howl. Meanwhile, the on-screen text echoes his thoughts, “This one will make me famous Mumz!”
The Golden howls again as the text jokes, “Why you sittin there’s? Get movin hoomin!” Hence, the owner steps away to grab the “accessory.” And when the bandana finally appears, Nauti wears it like he is stepping onto a red carpet. He keeps up the noise and the “tippy taps,” and the on-screen text announces, “I’m ready for my debut!” His owner laughs as she starts to explain why he is so happy, but Nauti cuts in with a bark that the text translates as, “Get ready to laugh hoomins!”
Nauti stretches out on the floor for a second, suddenly serious, which the owner explains is him being “nervous.” The dog is then “working up his courage,” as his owner prompts him, “Well, you gotta stand up, come on,” and he immediately stands and howls. Now, the bandana message becomes clear, and his owner reads it out. It says, “Feeling cute, might pee on the floor later,” prompting the owner to laugh and then tell him, “Yeah, that is funny and cute.” She ends the video by giving the dog chin scratches and a “Good boy.”
Viewers loved the theatrics of it all, calling him “the cutest,” “so talkative,” and, in one comment, “officially, famous.” Nauti would agree. As the on-screen text puts it at the end, “Hope it made you laugh hoomins!”
