Getting a second dog seems like the ultimate life hack for busy pet parents. Most people think they will just play together and leave the humans alone. But this video from the YouTube channel, @gamjamypotato, shows a much different reality. The owner thought getting a second pup would keep her first dog, Gamja, totally occupied. Instead, as we see in the video, the owner ended up with two Golden Retriever dogs who are both deeply obsessed with her every move. It’s truly hilarious.

Owner gets another Golden Retriever, so now she has 2 dogs staring at her all day

Gamja starts out resting her face on the couch and looking very expectant. She is clearly waiting for her human to entertain her. Actually, the plan was pretty simple. Bring in Chip, so Gamja has a constant playmate. But then the video cuts to the two of them just lying on their bed. They look bored out of their minds, and now they are both staring right at their human.

“My Plan Didn’t Work Out With My Dog,” the owner explains in the caption. It is so funny because they are perfectly synchronized. This breed is known for being incredibly social and wanting to be in the middle of everything. So having two Golden Retriever dogs just means double the guilt for not playing.

There is another shot where they are both peeping from under a work desk. Their faces are literally glued together in the tiny space. And one viewer pointed out how their heads have to touch for the staring to even work. It’s like they are a two-headed monster of cuteness.

They just want love and attention, and they clearly aren’t looking to each other for it. Chip learned from the best, as someone said. He is just following Gamja’s lead and staying glued to Mom. The clip has already racked up over 1.9k likes, and people are totally in love with these two “sweet potatoes.” One person joked that maybe three is the magic number. But that will probably just lead to three sets of eyes, begging for attention.
