A Golden Retriever puppy named Georgie’s video of his first walk is melting hearts online, and you will understand why when you see it. In the video from Instagram user @george_thatgoldenboy, the fluffy puppy heads out for his “first ever walk” with his mum and dad, and somehow looks like he has been doing it for years. He stops and runs like any other dog, and yet, it is the most adorable thing you will see today.
Owner shows how Golden Retriever puppy’s first outside walk went
The video opens with the Golden Retriever puppy’s mum asking, “Are you excited to go on your first ever walk?” and the next scene shows Georgie bolting out of his crate. He runs straight toward his dad, his tail moving with enthusiasm. His dad clips on a collar and leash on him, and Georgie sets off like a pro, trotting forward with confidence that seemingly comes naturally to him.
The on-screen text reads, “Let’s go on Georgie’s first ever walk,” as the little guy steps outside. He immediately gets to work inspecting the world. At one point, he stops to consider two fallen leaves, like a tiny detective investigating the situation. A moment later, he is jogging alongside his dad, tongue out, clearly thrilled the entire way.
Then Georgie briefly sits for a second while his mum checks in, asking, “Are you tired?”. However, the break does not last long, and he is back up and ready to continue toward the end.
Under the video, the caption says, “Big day for Georgie boy ? He had no idea what he was doing, ate everything in sight, but was so happy!!”. Viewers were just as happy as his owners, with comments cheering him on. In fact, some laughed about how there was “no lead wrestling,” and joked that this was “1/10,000 walkies done.” And if Georgie keeps walking like this, that count may increase in no time.
