The manner in which this dog stays calm with his little baby brother just goes to prove they are truly best friends. This sweet connection is currently a huge hit over at @kyloandslinky. Kylo is a European Doberman who lives in New Jersey with his family, and his owners describe him as being incredibly patient with his tiny human sibling.
This relationship actually started long before the infant even arrived. He, along with his Dachshund brother Slinky, used to nap right against the pregnancy bump every single day. Now he spends his afternoons snuggling on the couch with his favorite person.
Dog and little baby are already best friends the way they’re always together
The video opens on a very cozy couch scene where everyone is relaxing. Mom is stretched out while the baby rests his head on her arm. A warm blanket drapes over them while Kylo sleeps right next to his brother. He rests his face on the part of the blanket covering the infant’s legs; meanwhile, mom keeps the palm of her hand resting sweetly on the pup’s shoulder. This dog and the baby show everyone what growing up as best friends looks like.
There is barely any movement in the clip except for the baby’s busy hands. He is at an age where he learns by touching everything he sees, and Kylo’s pointy ears have clearly piqued his interest today. He keeps reaching out to grab and pat the pup’s ears.
The dog remains completely still while the little baby explores his face. He even looks up at the camera while continuing to pat his furry friend’s soft ears. One viewer noted that Dobermans make the best babysitters because they are so aware. Another fan mentioned that these two are just a couple of precious guys.
It is amazing to see such a powerful breed show so much tenderness. The dog and the baby are already best friends who clearly understand how to exist in each other’s space. The video has already touched many hearts online for its cozy, warm vibe.
