According to his Instagram bio, Stromboli was adopted when he was five years old. And the video opens with Stromboli sitting sweetly on his mat while a large gold foil balloon announces that now he’s officially six years old. A teddy bear sits beside him, his toys are scattered nearby, and he wears his tiny birthday hat with pride.
His dad is leaning over, holding a homemade, dog-safe birthday cake topped with a number six candle. Before the singing begins, he asks Stromboli for a paw, and the gentle American Bully lifts one without hesitation. His tail starts wagging almost immediately, though his eyes barely leave Dad.
As both parents sing an entire verse of the Birthday song, Stromboli cutely looks between Dad and the cake, enjoying the attention.
