Rescue puppy Cowboy refuses to leave dog Cactus’ side, as seen in an Instagram video showing the little pup trying to stay close while Cactus attempts to get some much-needed rest. At first, Cowboy squeezes into a small bed while Cactus is sitting in it. The older pooch then moves to a bigger bed and begins to doze off, only for Cowboy to climb in beside him and struggle to find a comfortable spot. Meanwhile, the owner tries to convince Cowboy to give Cactus some space so he can sleep.
Cowboy joins Cactus in his bed while the older dog tries to rest
In the video on Instagram, rescue puppy Cowboy doesn’t let his furry brother Cactus sleep. The pet parent calls it a “nap time drama” on the screen. Then, the clip begins with Cactus sitting on a small bed while the little one is roaming outside of it. Seeing Cowboy, the human realizes both dogs want to be on “the little bed.”
When the owner points out that they cannot fit together in the bed, Cowboy takes it as a challenge. So he climbs into the bed and cozily sits, asking Cactus to move a little. However, the big brother stands up, walks to the big bed, and lies down.
While Cactus tries to sleep, the little pooch gets into the big bed. Cowboy seems to nudge the elder canine, but the owner tells him to let Cactus sleep. After struggling to find the right spot, Cactus pins the younger down so that he can sleep.
Meanwhile, viewers loved the clip and found it hilarious. A user quipped, “Cactus loves his personal space.. and Cowboy love Cactus’ personal space too.” Since the upload, the Instagram post has received over 84K likes and nearly 2 million views.
