It seemed like a great idea for both Koa and his parents. However, the adventure soon turned into a pampering session, as his dad had to carry the pup whenever they encountered stairs.

This dog can walk along a hiking trail with ease but needs his dad’s help when it comes to climbing or going down stairs. The clip, shared by @oso_n_koa, shows a dog named Koa being carried like a baby in his dad’s arms on a staircase.
Apparently, Koa loves being outdoors and exploring his surroundings. He can handle rough trails without any trouble and has no problem walking along uneven paths. However, the moment stairs come into the picture, his confidence seems to disappear.
So, when his parents took him on a hike, Koa decided to show his stubborn side after encountering stairs out in the wild. He seemed to treat them like an impossible challenge. Meanwhile, his parent was probably thinking, “Koa, you literally just walked up a mountain, then why can’t you climb down the stairs?”
However, Koa was adamant. Come what may, he wasn’t going to put a single paw on those stairs. The pup’s reaction is what makes the video so hilarious. While he is fearless when faced with things that might make other canines hesitate, he somehow gets intimidated by one of the most ordinary obstacles.
Thankfully, his dad was there to help. Once he stepped in and picked Koa up, the pup no longer had to worry about the terrifying staircase. He could simply relax, enjoy the rest of the hiking adventure, and let his human handle the situation.
